We have a wide variety of activities going on here at Seaham Youth and Community Centre – take a look at some of the things currently going on at the centre!

Senior Youth Group

One of the busiest nights of the week at ‘Youthy’ – Groundwork’s Senior Youth session welcomes young people aged 12-18 with a wide variety of activities to help with socialisation, wellbeing and employability. As well as confidential support there’s also sports, gaming, cookery and healthy eating workshops. £1 entry fee.

Wednesdays 7pm-9pm

Canny Bairns – Toddlers Group

Our weekly toddlers session is £2 per child with a variety of activities available to keep young ones entertained. From toys, games, crafts, books to read and much more! Suitable for children aged 0-5 years. A snack and drink included, for example fresh fruit, yoghurt, muffin, toast or crumpets with a juice drink. (Supported by Believe Housing)

Roseberry Park – FA Comets

A safe space for disabled children aged 5-11 to kickstart their football journey. Roseberry Park Football Club present their FA comets programme. Comets from England Football is a recreational, pan-disability football programme for disabled boys and girls. Pan-disability is the largest format of disability football, which sees players with a broad range of impairments and health conditions play together. 

Fridays 5:30pm-6:30pm

Junior Youth Drop In

A new project for anyone aged 8-12, all welcome. For the initial trial period the drop in session is totally FREE to attend! The session includes drinks and hot snack all included! The young people will have the chance to shape the sessions but activities will include sports and physical activity, games, cookery plus arts and crafts!

Tuesdays 3:30pm-5pm

Luncheon Club

A brand new project to Seaham Youth & Community Centre! Specfically designed to be fully accessible, relaxed environment for adults. Session includes morning snacks/fruit + unlimited tea, coffee and juice and two course hot menu with main meal and dessert. Dominos and bingos games. £10 per person.

Inner Hall at Seaham Youth & Community Centre

The Social Hub

Our new social space, open to all to socialise, chat with other with FREE refreshments. Anyone from right across the local community is welcome to attend with the opportunity find out more about what’s going on in the area. Hot drinks and juice provided with sandwiches, sweet treats, savouries and sausage rolls available too – all FREE!
